What can I do if the pump in my Capsule Fountain stops working?

If the Capsule Water Fountain's pump stops working, it may be caused by several factors. Please follow these steps to troubleshoot:

  1. Check the adapter/plug. Replace the power adapter/cable (if you have another one), or use the adapter/cable with your other devices to see if it works properly.
  2. Check the pump. This pump should be disassembled for cleaning every two weeks. Please disassemble the water pump, soak it in white vinegar for 1 hour, then clean it with a cleaning brush. 
  3. Check the water level. When the water is lower than the minimum level, it will affect the pump function. Please add water to the maximum level before turning on the fountain.
  4. Have you used any white or black foam filters that are not from Petlibro?
    To protect the pump and ensure your cat’s water safety, we recommend using only official Petlibro filters, as non-Petlibro filters may cause clogging or stop the fountain from dispensing water.

Here are some small tips to show you how to take the pump apart properly.

1. Remove the pump cover and impeller cover in sequence.

2. Remove the impeller with the brush hook.

3. Use the brush to clean the parts with water.
