Can the Essential Automatic/WiFi Feeder Work Solely on Batteries?

The Essential Automatic Feeder and Essential WiFi Feeder can work solely on 3 Alkaline D-cell batteries.

 

1. For the Essential Automatic Feeder, the batteries can last the feeder for about 20 days.

2. For the Essential WiFi Feeder, the batteries can last the feeder for about 3 days.

However, battery voltage becomes unstable as power levels deplete, which may cause feeding faults. Additionally, the outdoor use of the feeder is not recommended.

 

For optimal performance, we strongly recommend using the original adapter and power cable while maintaining 3 new Alkaline D-cell batteries as emergency backup power.
