How to Add a Pet and Reference Photos

 

Steps to Set Up a Pet Profile:

  1. Open the Petlibro app and go to your Luma device.
  2. Tap “Add New Pet” below the live feed. (You can also create a pet profile in the Me section on the app’s first page.)
  3. Enter your pet's information and save the profile, then let your pet enter the camera’s view.

 

Reference Photos & Recognition:

  1. Once your pet is captured by Luma's camera, the app will automatically generate recognition images in Logs.
  2. After your pet uses Luma multiple times, more images will be captured automatically.
  3. Tap “Match Photo” next to your pet’s icon to select up to six reference photos.

 

Tips for Choosing Reference Photos:

  1. Show your cat’s full body from multiple angles.
  2. Highlight unique features such as markings, patterns, or fur color.
  3. Ensure all photos are in focus and well-lit.
  4. Show your pet in different lighting conditions, but avoid strong backlighting or heavy shadows.

 

Luma will now have the information it needs to track and analyze your cat’s litter box usage accurately.
