Why is the video quality of my Scout Smart camera not clear enough?
To resolve this issue, follow these simple steps:
1. Please wipe the camera with a clean, dry cloth, and then place the device in a location where it is not directly exposed to light (avoid turning on floor lamps or other direct light sources).
2. Resetting the Camera: To reset the camera, first slide the Manual Privacy Cover to the left. Locate the reset button and use a sharp object such as a toothpick or paperclip to press and hold it for 5 seconds. Upon hearing the "Reset Successfully" prompt, wait for the device to restart. Finally, slide the Manual Privacy Cover back to the right until it clicks into the locked position.
3. Place the router and the camera in the same room, ensure the camera is close to the router, and then reboot the router and modem.
4. Also, please try using another power cord and adapter from another device to check if that works.
