To help us identify the cause and provide the best solution, please review the following checklist and questions:
- Water Tank Leakage Test: Thoroughly dry the entire fountain. Refill the water tank, then remove it from the base and place it on a dry, flat surface. Wait for an hour and observe—does the tank itself leak any water?
- Pet Interaction Observation: Sometimes, pets may drink along the edge of the spout, causing water to drip along their fur and onto the floor, which may appear as a leak. Please place the fountain out of your pet’s reach temporarily—does leaking still occur?
- Filter and Spout Removal Test: Remove the filter and spout from the fountain. Does it still overflow or leak during operation?
- For one pet, we recommend replacing the filters and cleaning the pump every 2 weeks. This includes: the white filter in the filter tray and the black foam filter in the water pump. If you have multiple pets, please do it more often.
