Why are my pets misidentified in the playback video?

There could be several reasons your pet is being misidentified. Here are a few things you can try to correct it:

1) Make sure that a pet profile has been created for the pet shown in the video. Scout only recognizes pets with profiles.
2) Update the reference images in your pet's profile. Be sure to choose clear, unobstructed images that show your pet alone, from various angles, and in different lighting.
3) Adjust Scout's Pet Recognition Sensitivity. Tap the settings icon in the top right corner of the home screen, then "Pet Recognition." Slide the Pet Recognition Sensitivity bar to adjust the sensitivity level. Try adjusting it one level at a time and check the results. It might take a few tries to find the right setting for your pet and their environment.

Note that Scout's AI recognition function isn't always 100% accurate, but we're continuing to improve it.
