How to Resolve Auto-Tracking Failure on Scout Smart Camera?

To resolve this issue, follow these simple steps:

1. Please check if the Pet Auto-Tracking function is turned on.
2. The gimbal supports 180° bidirectional rotation, enabling 360° tracking functionality. If the camera gimbal frequently gets stuck at a certain angle and fails to rotate, the issue may stem from incorrect installation orientation. For proper setup, ensure the power port is positioned away from the pet. When mounting on a wall, the power port should face upward toward the wall.
3. Disconnect the camera from the power supply. Then, turn on the camera using the adapter and power cable, and wait for 30 seconds to allow the necessary data to load.
4. Resetting the Camera: First, slide the Manual Privacy Cover to the left. Locate the reset button and use a sharp object such as a toothpick or paperclip to press and hold it for 5 seconds. Upon hearing the "Reset Successfully" prompt, wait for the device to restart. Finally, slide the Manual Privacy Cover back to the right until it clicks into the locked position.
5. Try moving your camera so it's closer to your router. If you are already very close, you don't need to do this. This step is mainly to eliminate possible network signal problems.
